Near Real-Time SARS Statement of Account

This video will demonstrate how Konsise’s unique integration with SARS facilitated better reporting and tracking. In this video example, we’ve opened several different tax types to explain this and one of the critical areas in the data integration with SARS. So first of all, there are the revenue service details, and one can see the submission date and whether a payment or refund was made or is due even if SARS passes a set of journals and the resulting outstanding balance for the period and the cumulative balance. Konsise also offers the ability to get the most updated statement of account when looking at a tax return. This takes between 10 minutes and an hour to come back with the latest data. Sars prevents you from requesting a Statement of Account more than once in 2 hours. All data is then aggregated into the compliance report, where users can see a list of all entities and the cumulative balances. It also aggregates this data into the payment trackers so if a user is looking for a particular period; they can see a list of all legal entities, tax filling types and for the relevant period if a refund is received or outstanding, or if payment made or due
